I've been recently diagnosed with Insulin Resistance and PCOS. I am embarking on a low sugar, high protein, low fat diet. I have been eating fairly healthy but now need to really buckle down. Would love motivation and support! No one else in my life really eats as healthy as I do and I don't always feel empowered. I haven't quite figured everything on this site out--but would love to add friends--especially local ones!

Hello. Last fall I got a "prediabetic" diagnosis. It scared me to the point where you are now. I am now 1 pound away from my 30 pound goal. Finally I am in the normal bmi range. I cut way back on added sugar and cut back a lot on carbs. Did whole grains when possible and added more veggies. I stepped up the exercise and got used to being hungry. You can do this. I have faith in you.
