Anyone ever try the each Body Body Beast workout?

I've heard some decent things about the Body Beast workout, and it has me curious to try it out. I'm looking for some feedback and their thoughts from anyone who has done it. As well as what equipment is necessary, and how much weight is needed to really push your body.

  • I'm starting the program in a week. I can definitely fill you in once I get started.
As far as equipment.. multiple dumbbell sets, they suggest an easy curl bar but a regular bar works too or just substitute it with the dumbbells. A bench or stability ball and a pull up bar. There's a guy in each video using all the substitutes like the ball, resistance bands, etc.
The weight needed.. That totally depends on you and your limits. Starting small will help prevent you from any injury and thus allow you see where your limit is as you progress through the program.

I love BB currently on my second go through, you need dumbbells, ez bar (optional) can use dumbbells instead. A bench or an exercise ball, and a chin up bar or resistance bands. In each workout there is a modifier so it shows how to use all the equipment. As for weight of the weights that depends on you i use adjustable 50lb dumbbells, some moves that i'm weaker at like lunges i can use up to about 30lbs per dumbbell and other moves like squats that i'm stronger at i've out grown them all ready and need more weight. Overall i love it's great if you workout at home like i do. I recommend a bench over a ball if you can just a personal preference
