My goal is to gain muscle mass by lifting but also lose body fat percentage. How do I program "my fitness pal" to tell me the correct amount if macronutrients?

Calorie counting=weight loss, macros=nutrients. Mess around with combinations that work for you. .8-1g of protein per pound of LBM is generally recommended.

MFP has standard macros, so go into goals, custom and change them to your desired percentages.

I want to adjust the percentages because I need slightly more healthy fat and protein and far fewer carbs
