What's a good Android fitness app for pre-logging routines with set rep/sets?

I use Simple, which I don't think has space for prescribed sets/reps. I like it, but it only lets you punch in what you've done that day (not what you should do or what your goal is).

I want to set up routines in advance eg:

1. cable kickbacks: 3 x 15. set 1: ___ lbs. set 2: ___ lbs. set 3: __ lbs.
2. something else > superset with 3.
3. another thing
4. etc.

AND i would like to be able to add custom exercises with my own instructions / cues.

(You can do that with simple but you can't write, in advance, that you need to do 3 sets of 15)

Fitocracy is great for prelogging routines (I can't remember though if it's flexible enough to change things if you don't do your workout exactly as planned) - however if your exercise isn't in the database (most things are) you'll have to add a note after the set. You can also request to have things added to their database.

Thanks - I'll check it out!

I like to use my own cues (like "put weight through the heels" or "sit back and deep"), is there space for that?

(In Simple, I just write that right into the name of the exercise, because there's no place for it there)..

What about something generic like Evernote? You can write yourself your program, edit, add website links, photos of the exercises to remind you (I would need reminders of what some of the accessory exercises are), and even include videos of you or others (i.e. add a video of your squats for the day so you can evaluate form). Hmmm...now that I think about it, not a bad idea!

Hey! I'm not a huge Evernote person, but I think what you've described would be a perfect way to use it! Great idea!

I use JeFit, and when you input a program, you tell it how many sets you want to do and your target reps. Is that what you're looking for?
Also, an idea my husband gave me earlier is that he inputs a set at the end of his workout with 0 reps and puts in the weight that he thinks he should perform the exercise at the next time. I have yet to do exactly that because my number of reps is usually a good enough indication for me, but it's a good idea.

JeFit does allow you to add your own custom exercises too, though I'm not sure about instructions. I've never tried that.
