I want to have a go at including protein balls into my diet.
Does anybody have any recipes for protein balls? I have unflavoured whey so in theory could make any variety.

Are you ok with peanut butter?
PROTEIN PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
3/4 cup peanut butter (or other butter like sunflower seed butter)
1/4 cup honey
1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup raw oats
Directions
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and form into small 1" balls
Place in the fridge for a few hours and then enjoy.0 -
Nice, I only have unflavoured protein powder, would a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder be good enough?0

This recipe is amazing. I actually can't make it anymore, because I just eat it out of the container with a spoon >.<
@grantevans11 if you use the recipe above as a guideline you can play with the ingredients to suit your tastes. It is good with cocoa powder, and raisins too. I've also added shredded coconut and/or walnut pieces. Sooooo good!0 -
That looks so good. Once I start my maintainence calories I'm going to try those!0

Protein powder oatmeal balls
*1/2 cup coconut oil (not liquid kind)
* ~1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (can also use unsweetened coconut milk, but I like the almond milk)
*1 scoop chocolate protein powder
* 1 1/2 cups uncooked plain oatmeal
1 Tbs cocoa powder
1 Tbs unsweetened flaked coconut (optional)
1\2 Tbs mini choc. Chips (optional)
-In a cool pan combine coconut oil, almond milk and protein powder. Heat until mixture starts to bubble, stirring constantly
-Remove from heat and stir in oatmeal. Let cool slightly.
-Form warm mixture into balls and place on a plate, refrigerate until hardened.0 -

Yeah that was my first thought.. I don't think any of them are low calorie balls.

You can use your plain powder.
The honey and peanut butter give it enough flavor.
Otherwise, go ahead and add the cocoa power because one tablespoon is one Gram of protein.

Just made these. I separated into 10 balls and got 139 cal, 6 g protein each. You can obviously get those numbers a little better in sync with better protein powder or by using two scoops. But for a snack/dessert replacement, these work fine by me.1 -
I just made them too! Omfg they are awesome. As a snack they are great. Except it's really hard to stop at one0
