Doing this with my daughter

I have been saying for years that I need to lose weight but never got serious about it. Took my 16 year old to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and got a wakeup call that this isn't just about me. She isn't classified as obese, but she definitely needs to lose weight, so baby bear and mama bear are on a journey together. We have cut out sodas, starting to cut carbs, and have to start an exercise program asap. Problem is that right now there's too much snow on the ground for anything outside.

I have a pretty big goal, but hers is a lot smaller than mine. I'm doing this not just for me. If she needs to lose weight, then I am not going to make her do it on her own. We are going to do this together.

Good for you!! I have just paired up with my youngest girl (26). quite frankly can't remember how many programs i have tried over the years lol. And I'm still here.
They say God loves a trier... lol I can be very trying. As for the exercise a good skipping rope will help. Don't forget to put down a mat over yr carpet. or you will wear a mark in it like I did. As for the snow we could do with some in New Zealand it's bout 27C at the moment and just thinking of moving out of this chair makes me break into a sweat. I am off to put up some Asian recipes in my file.
Good luck to both of u
