Butter - my son used to slice it and eat it like cheese
High-Fat Cheese like Havarti
Nuts
Avocado0 -
For instance, what I plan to eat today is:
2 Sweet Italian Chicken Sausages - 24 grams of fat - 34 grams protein
Salmon fillet - 5 grams fat - 49 grams protein
I have 500 calories left for the day, and I want to devote them mainly to fats and low carb vegetables0 -
Pour the melted butter over a big pile of vegetables, with a bit of pepper.0

thank you, I'll take a look0 -
I'm on the keto diet and doing 75% fat, 20% protein, 5% carbs.
My fats are usually in the form of:
Heavy Whipping Cream
Cheese
Mayonnaise (no sugar added - Trader Joe's has a good one)
Butter
Bacon grease
Macadamia nut oil
Coconut oil
When I make spinach, I mix a couple tablespoons of olive oil in and some garlic powder.
When I make broccoli, I double-fat it with both butter AND cheese.
If I'm at the end of the day and I'm somehow low on both protein AND fat, I make a fat bomb shake with protein powder + added macadamia nut oil and flax oil.
Sometimes I make the most disgusting "sandwich" ever with 2 slices of cheddar + a tablespoon of mayonnaise. I feel like I'm 8 years old again. >_>
Try googling keto fat bomb recipes. There are a bunch out there that involve coconut oil + various delicious additives.
Oh yeah, regarding eating butter as a snack...
Get yourself a block of Kerrygold butter. I have been seriously tempted to eat that as a snack. It has such an amazing creamy taste. I believe there was a whole thread devoted to how awesome it was at one point.
I made some cream cheese + Kerrygold butter frosting once with some vanilla and stevia added. Was planning on making it 2 servings...then I accidentally the whole bowl. >_>

Wow, I'll try that! Thanks!
Today I made an awesome treat using
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp butter
4 tbsp cocoa powder (4 net carbs)
6 packets splenda (don't know how many carbs, I'm assuming less than 6)
1/3 tsp peppermint extract (might want to cut back, it was very pepperminty)
Basically I melted the butter/oil, mixed cocoa powder and splenda, added extract. Froze them in a muffin tin. It was just like thin mints! Except, well, minus the wafer. Maybe I should try meringue for the wafer part...
I'm trying to figure out how to make a white chocolate version of it...any suggestions? I wonder if protein powder would work.0 -

I did Atkins in 2000. My cholesterol went to 243, so I stopped Atkins, and I gained back all 38 pounds I had lost. Please reconsider your choice of diet!0

cook bacon weekly. save the grease. use the grease for oil, as a shortening substitute, as a life-enhancing gift from the gods.
If you are strictly avoiding protein, feel free to ship me the cooked bacon!0 -

Why, yes. You can:
Chocolate-covered bacon.
On a stick.
I shared it with my fiance and some lucky co-workers.
