Nsfw language but this is hysterical. http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/lax/182862349.html

This is what happened to one poor soul when he ate fat free Pringles made with olean/olestra.

OMG...perhaps it's just my middle-school mentality but I can NOT stop laughing.

I tried those chips when they first came out. No self-sharting, but they felt...odd. Slippery. No thanks.

Read this, it will tell you everything you need to know about Alli! http://thewvsr.com/alli.htm

You know, I've read this several times over the years and always makes me LOL until tears are streaming down my face...which is far preferable to "treatment effects" streaming down ones legs!

Yup, there are several weight loss medicines designed to block the uptake of fats in the digestive system.

The problem is since you block their uptake they have to pass out the other end.

Most people find the social consequences so dire they simply end up cutting out the fats from their diet anyway, thus negating what the diet pill does for them.

I guess you could say it is a negative reinforcement method of enforcing a low-fat diet. :)

Unfortunately you can still easily eat a high-calorie, low-fat diet. So if you simply replace the fat calories with calories from other sources, nothing is accomplished.

I find this to be so ridiculous...especially considering I have lost 92lbs without ANY PILLS/DRINKS/PACKAGES MEAL PLANS. Nothing. Why on earth would you take a pill that essentially requires you to wear an adult diaper?

I almost have to laugh, but I feel so sorry for you at the same time.

I am fascinated that anyone would willingly take a pill that makes orange grease ooze out of your butt when you could just eat right and exercise and have better results. Because anything that recommends you carry a spare pair of undies at all times are not the results I want.

    This might be nsfw-ish?

Hi, I wanted to ask the community about this. I've been on Alli for about four days now and so far its been working but my stools have been covered in an orange oil. After searching online I have found this to be a common problem but I've read that its common to leak some of that too. I haven't had that problem but i'm terrified I will lol. Has anyone else had this problem? Does it go away or will it continue to happen?

I took Alli for a while and had the same problems. After a couple weeks I had to be careful passing gas as well (T.M.I. right?lol) just be careful and carry an extra pair of bottoms in case of emergency lol. ;-) best of luck to you.

Mannnnn. LOL I remember when this stuff came out. One of my friends and I decided to look into it and once we read those possible "side effects", we were like, "Oh HELL no!!!!" We laughed all day, and every time we would see it on the shelf somewhere we would start laughing. I have enough digestive issues with my metformin to deal with Alli.

I would just like to say OP that I work in a pharmacy and know that you should not be taking Alli unless under a doctors supervision or recommendation. And that really it is designed for cases of obesity and very overweight individuals, not for you to take it so that you dont feel as bad after eating a take away. So unless your doctors recommended it which i highly doubt will, id recommend to stop taking it.

I tried Alli about 4 years ago. To be honest, I never had any negative side effects from it. In order to avoid the GI issues, you need to be very careful not to have more than 15 grams of fat at any meal. Although I did lose a little weight on it, it was simply too restrictive for me.

Alli works by stopping you breaking down and absorbing the fat, so it just goes straight through you..

Only you can decide whether it's worth it to be honest. Personally, I don't think the risk of an*l leakage would be offset by anything for me. But maybe that's just me.

Do you really only have 25lbs to lose, like your ticker says?

Edited because apparently an*l is a swear word  but considering it's a genuine medical complaint, I'm not sure what else I can put.

This account is outdated, i'm 170lbs now, I gained some weight since the last time I was here haha

I have tears streaming down my face right now. That is classic! I must save for when I am having a bad day.

When I first read the title of this I thought "oh no poop pills" yikes!

I can't believe I'm admitting this on a public forum!
But I took that white kidney bean extract a while ago. And I had the whole gamut of side effects mentioned here. Plus my husband was searching the house for a dead animal, but it was my gas lol I was too embarrassed to tell him it was me :confounded:
Needless to say I threw them in the bin after a week!
