There's an app to help you cut back on that. Interestingly enough, it's also called MFP. MyFuckingPottymouth...0 -

I can honestly say I have had similar issues with my hubby, the only thing that got him to recognize my hard work was when his good friend commented on how well I was doing and wished his girlfriend had my attitude. Keep your head up girlfriend, sometimes men need reminders of how great we really are.0

it seems like to me that most men and women just think differently.
Men try to fix things for you (give suggestions where they think you're failing), where as women offer support and try to make you feel better.0 -

Just have to share: Tonight my sweet hubby came home from work and proceeded to make me a healthy delicious salad for dinner! Really thoughtful & sweet, right? THEN HE SAT DOWN AND ATE AN ENTIRE POT OF MAC & CHEESE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!
I want to drop 10 - 15 lbs (he is diabetic and NEEDS to lose 50!) uuughhh!0 -

Hahahaha.
He thinks he is helping... by offering unsolicited advice. Tell him thanks honey but mind ya b'ness. When and if you have a problem that needs fixing, you'll let him know... otherwise you expect his unwavering support. Do what works for you and keep going! Sounds like youre doing great!!

My husband is also guilty of telling me "the right way" to do everything. We have agreed to disagree on the topic of anything exercise related. However, I do wonder why it seems that most men are "programmed" to think that they are the best at anything physical. I know that it is sexist to say that, but it repeats itself over and over with unsolicited unwanted advice at the gym too. I just don't get it! Why do they think that they are so great? I see men doing horribly dangerous stupid stuff at the gym all the time and I manage to keep my opinions to myself. I guess I just wished that men, including my husband, would do the same.0

Oh, the battle of the sexes. This one in the picture with me can't wait to practice more and more judo with me. Which would be awesome, except everytime I do judo after a couple of weeks I get a bad injury that makes me not able to exercise (or sometimes even walk) normally, which for all it's good intentions slows my progress down more than if I would've just done a lower impact activity in the first place.
Bless their hearts.
Oh yeah, judo does burn more calories, except during the 6 weeks stretches you're spending sitting it out because you're recovering from injury.
We shared rants, Cheers!
Got to love those men!0 -

It's sarcasm. Threads like this always end up with "Divorce him!".
