i just started diet & exercise last week, i have been having 30 min work outs while i build up to longer workouts because im out of shape. Today i worked out for 45 mins and i feel hungrier hours after my workout. Is this normal? I am still eating with in my calorie range.
Oh and also are you supposed to eat back your calories? For example
3x 300 calorie meals + snacks through out the day - 300 calories burned with exercise = 600 calories left. Do you eat back your calories you burned with exercise

What is your current height/weight and your calorie goal?
If you are eating, say, 1200 calories, I would eat at least half of those calories back. If you eat 1200 calories a day, and you burn 300 calories through exercise, that puts you at a net of 900 calories a day, which is not healthy or sustainable.

I will eat back some of them if I'm really hungry. The exercise calories sometimes seem exaggerated to me so I rarely will use them all.
You're on a pretty low daily number, so if you're hungry you should eat them back.0 -
When you burn more calories, you should eat more.0

Definitely eat those calories back. I threw your stats into the Scooby's workshop calorie calculator (http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/) and a sedentary person with your stats can lose weight eating 1600 calories a day, and exercise would just add to that.
You're likely hungry because you're not eating enough to fuel your workouts.
Be sure and accurately weigh/measure your foods so that you're not eating more than you think, though!
Good luck0 -
