    Once at 15... We met on a church trip. He was in TX, I was in OH. We wrote love letters back and forth after I returned home, until one day he just quit writing. I was heartbroken.

    Once.. I caught him in bed with someone, he jumped up & said "umm I guess we need to talk."... I may or may not have slashed his tires.

    Once. I was the first girl he dated after ending a 4 year relationship, and he realized he wasn't over her. I was 17 and we only dated for a couple of weeks, so it wasn't heartbreaking.

    Twice, one was mostly mutual - though technically she beat me to it. The other was heart breaking, but I now recognize that she felt she needed to make a whole raft of life changing decisions for her health and well being - I just happened to be on the wrong end of one of those decisions.

    Once. She broke up with me and then a week later tried to convince me that she didn't. We ended up getting back together and I had to end it. It was the right decision for both of us.

    my first ex dumped me literally 8 or 9 times before i got sick of that person's *kitten* and dumped IT. that was 3 or 4 years ago. I grew from that experience and that was the last time i let someone I was in a relationship with treat me like garbage :)

    Once...on new years day after driving back from a new years eve trip with our friends hahahahaha. It sucked for a few days, but in the end it was definitely for the best, got me out of an unhealthy relationship with a guy who brought out the worst in me

    For some people being dumped is nothing important they wake next day and just as nothing happened to them. But some others are more sensitive they might end up in depression for weeks afterwards, or decide not to do it again.

    Took me years after my divorce to tell my wife now that I loved her. Even though I knew it from our first kiss that she was the one. We've been together for about 14 years. And married for 8 1/2 years. She is my lobster. Lol
