Gosh only one food? That would be a nightmare to a foodie like me lol. I think I would just have to live on fried rice. Man that stuff is good!

Yesterday was beef brisket slow roasted in a marinade of Asian spices, then sliced and put in a wrap. Today I have some butternut squash and some empires, leeks that I'll put some star anise, five spice, coriander in.....I'm on a spice kick right now

I'm never not on a spice kick! A year ago, I finally organized and rearranged my spice cupboards. No spice racks for me -- whole cupboards! It makes cooking so much more fun and creative, and it makes the food taste SO good. I can look up recipes for almost anything and have all the spices I need on hand. I"m going to grow leeks this year for the first time, so I'll make a note to cook them with some star anise, which I have and so rarely use.

Mounds of pasta. I don't even care what kind although cheesy based pastas are my favorite. Pizza too. Never get tired of pizza.

Pizza or cheeseburgers. I'd probably choose cheeseburgers over pepperoni pizza for life, but I'd choose veggie pizza over cheeseburgers for life. :)

Beef jerky is pretty amazing. I'd eat it all the time if it didn't cost so much.

Star anise is a key ingredient in a pho (vietnamese soup) if you are looking for inspiration!
