Seems to me that if you weigh everything you put your mouth you are so OCD you don't have a life. If you are losing 1/4 to 1 lb per week - that's better than any costly weight loss program on the market. From an old weight watchers counselor who got tired of the rut. Life is good. No one is perfect.

If you can keep losing weight at the rate you want to without measuring everything, feel free to be a little more laid back about recording food. I'll have a couple of very small things each day I don't track, and I'm still losing 2-2.5 lbs/week. When I get to the point where I stall out, you can bet that that behavior will stop.

I'm getting MORE life by the brief few minutes it takes to weigh some food items a day...average 4lbs loss per week = obesity gone at a faster rate = better life for me sooner :-).

What works for you might not work for someone else. I need to weigh my food to keep losing.

I used to think people who weighed their food were a tad obsessive, until I gave it a try....
I was mortified at how off my guestimations were.
Some people are great at eye balling portions and serving sizes. I however am not one of them!

You can lose weight by counting calories. But you can lose weight and never count a calorie. Different strokes for different folks.

Yes Indeedy. What works for me, may not work for you. I don't think less of others who don't do it MY way :hushed:
