Anyone else trying to loss a big amount? I would love to loose 100. When I first met my husband I was around 150 lbs. Six years later I have gained a lot of weight. We have a four year old and 9 month old twins so my body has been through a lot. Ready to take it all off.

Yup! I'll "settle" for a loss of 60 pounds. But I put in a short term goal of 20 pounds.0

I've lost almost 60 and plan to lose another 40. So ,100 altogether. With persistence and patience, (and hard work) it can be done!0

It can be done!! I've sloooowly lost 80 pounds. Gaining and losing 10 lbs over and over since then, but otherwise maintaining. You can do it, just take it slow and take good care of yourself along the way. Add me if you like. My weight hasn't budged in awhile, but I'm on here most days and I hope to lose the last of it...eventually.0

I'm there too 5 kids later ... Now that they are all on their own I finally start paying attention to me ! First 10 gone in less then 3 weeks ! 60 more to go cardio for me kicked it in !0

My aim in the long term is another 84lbs :O but trying to do short term goals to keep me motivated.0

I'm with ya. I've lost 10lbs and have about 120lbs more to go. I'm 42 and it's time to make a change. I know it's going to be a long journey but I'm ready! We can do this!0

I am on a mission to lose 80-100 pounds. I weigh 220 pounds and am 5'6". If I could see 140 again I will be happy, but 120 would be even better.0

You've got this!0

Sure it can be done and you can do it to. I have lost 123 with 127 to go. Anyone can feel free to add me0

That's how I'm doing it too. Five pounds at a time. I am hopeful that I will able to start walking soon. We live in Minnesota and its been to cold to take the kids out.0

I want to lose fifty. Four down.....0

I have 128lbs to lose or 58 kilos. Yikes!0

My long term goal is 100lb but taking it 10lb at a time. My youngest is now 5 months old and after a few post op issues Ive got the all clear to exercise and lose weight so here goes! Anyone feel free to add me I could do with plenty of support x0

My goal when I started recently was 85 pounds. I've lost 4 so far (mostly water weight, I'm sure) so 81 to go. My daughter is competing at Fringe in Scotland in August 2016 and I want to be at my absolute strongest and fittest for that!0

Me too I was 140 when I met my husband and after my kids I have gained ALMOST 100 lbs....0

It's totally possible to lose it. It may seem hard at times and yep there will probably be a few bumps along the way, but it can be done. I only have approx 20-maybe 30lbs left (20lbs will put me at the goal I set originally, but I might go for another 10lbs). I think my biggest "bump" had to be getting pregnant with my second when I hit about 90lbs lost(man what a mixed bag of emotions there...although I'm sure pregnancy hormones didn't help). However, he is 9 months now and I'm back to where I was before I had him (actually...I lied...I'm almost 20lbs lighter). Patience and persistence.0 -
Thank you for all thw words of encouragement everyone. I'm happy that I'm not alone in this. My biggest downfall is actually making myself eat. I started preparing five lunches on Sundays so I have no excuse not to eat! Next step is working on water intake! Feel free to add me as well.

I have a long term goal of losing 70lb, but taking it in chunks - 10lb first!

Hi! In a similar boat - have 95 pounds to lose. Man, still scares the crap out of me typing that number! I had pretty much taken myself off of any sort of priority list for the last 15 years. Now, I am finally to a place that I have realized it is absolutely ok to want to take care of myself and my health. It actually isn't a selfish thing to do (or, if it is, I am ok with that). I always feel so much more encouraged knowing there are others out there facing a large number to lose. I liked reading so many are taking it 5 or 10 pounds at a time. That is a great way to look at it! I think I am going to get on board with that thinking as well. Much less daunting than facing a big 9-5!
Feel free to add me if you like.0 -
Im trying to lose at least 80 pounds. Got myself a trainer and actually schedule time for me at the gym. It's not going to happen overnight but it will happen 1 pound at a time~0
-
I have 70-80 for myself. I am trying to focus on eating better, but we all have days that are tough. Keep going and keep your goal in mind. It will take me a long time to get this done, but I am not giving up.0

I'm hoping for starting with 25lbs but really need to lose a total of at least 75. I agree these numbers are scary to say out loud. I'm 7.5 lbs down - it's a start.
I'm in Minnesota and looking for support!0 -
I've got 63kg to lose all up. I think that's about 139lbs. I'm down 20.8kg, a third of the way through.0
-
In the same boat! My goal is to drop 100 but I would really like to drop 120.
I am really trying to focus on being healthy, not just the weight loss. But in just one week, I dropped 2 pounds!
Adding exercise is wonderful and you start to feel better in a matter of a week! I look forward to my workouts now (most days)!
Good luck to you! I know you can do it.

I have lost about 32 so far and would like to lose about 110 more! One thing I'm learning is that it doesn't happen overnight and there is not an easy way out. It's a lot of work and dedication.0
-
Same here! I have gained more than 100 lbs since I married my husband. 2 kids and many up's and down's emotionally I feel like it's hopeless at times!!! But I'm trying and I guess that's what matters.0
