it's so great to hear that song that makes you push harder & burn more calories. It's even more awesome how energized and invincible you feel when that beat hits your ears.

I am a die hard Britney Spears fan. Her music always makes me push harder!

what are your favorite workout tunes?

Anything more bad a** than a song about an all female bombing squad from WWII?

I have tons of Britney on my playlist. I am also a fan of Happy by Pharrell Williams and old Usher songs like Yeah and If I Want to. Different genre: Sound of Madness by Shinedown.

Katy Perry-ROAR, it's my ode to the 120 lbs I've left behind and I try to time it for the end of my runs! It was playing in my ears at the finish line of my first 5k! I ran a 36 minute 5k!! Seriously felt bad *kitten* as a mother of six and grandma of 14!!

I can't workout to pop or dance music, for me it had to be hard(ish) rock like System of a down or 80s rock like Anthrax.

PitBull is my go to. I love him! Recently added Tina Turner (Proud Mary)...I rocked a fast pace on that one.

"My Type" by St. Motel, "Born Free" by M.I.A., "Left Hand Free" by Alt-J, "Rusty Cage" by Soundgarden, also dig the Black Keys and Cage the Elephant. And 70s disco is good to run to as well if you do the cardio thing. =D

Anything with a really fast beat! Eminem really gets the blood pumping. I love Cinderella Man at the start of my workouts! Also, Stromae, who raps in French

For workouts I like old heavy metal (anthrax, Megadeath etc), 90's grunge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam), some newer stuff like Nickleback, One Rebublic, Hozier.
For Running I run to military cadence songs

It depends on the exercise I'm doing. If it's strength training I listen to rap, Dr. Dre is one of my favorites. If I'm doing cardio I love to listen to RuPaul.
