Over 40, single mom, working, health issues, etc. Tracking for now, as I have surgery scheduled, but intend to work on the weight loss after I recover.

I was on mfn for a couple of years. Deleted my account last fall for personal reasons, but I am back. I need the accountability. Time to get back with it.

44 in one day. Up and down roller coaster of weight loss. Was at my highest ever at end of year. Restarted my journey 1/1. Down 20lbs so far. About 50 more to go.

I'm 49. Started myfitnesspal over a year ago - lost over 20lbs - got cockey thinking "I've got this down". Stopped logging and guess what? Yep, gained a few lbs back. Frustrated at myself. Just started logging again a few days ago. Need the accountability and motivation to keep going. Please feel free to add me - we are on here for support, so lets support each other!

Just remember that exercise is for fitness, and calorie deficit is for weight loss. It's entirely possible to lose weight without being able to exercise, so don't wait until you recover to start.

45 at the beginning of March. Started again here in January just because I needed to hold myself accountable for what I was eating and tired of being fat. Still have a long way to go, so here we all go!!

I turned 40 last year and that was tough for me. I felt like my life had slipped past me somehow. My kids are all almost teenagers. My youngest turns 12 in a couple of weeks and my oldest is graduating next year. I would like to be more fit and healthy not to look a certain way but just to be more healthy and have a better quality of life. I will probably have grandchildren in the next 5-10 years and I want to enjoy them. Looking to lose about 60 lbs before I turn 45.

45 in April and have struggled with being some degree of overweight nearly all my life (from pudgy to 60lbs overweight). Started clean eating 3 years ago and saw great results but I'm trying to lose the 10lbs of jiggle and fluff that came back on when I stopped logging and lifting for the past year (damn those salty, crunchy snacks!). Love yoga too. Will gladly give and receive support

I am 40. Over the last 18 months I have lost 18 kgs and gained 13 of them back again. I was eating right and training dilligently for about 10 months and then just lost motivation. The training went from 10 hours a week to 3 hours. And I stopped eating healthy completely. Now I am trying so hard to get back into it. To be that motivated and disciplined person I was for those 10 months. Then I started a few days ago eating healthy and training twice a day again. I want to look and feel good about myself again and I do not want the Hbp to resurface. Please I need help staying motivated.
