Hi there everyone,
I bought P90X around the new year and I have attempted to do it a couple of times, not managing to get past week 2. I thought if I could see some women results and see how much it does work..maybe I will find the motivation to do it! Also, i have the nutrional book...what happens if you don't follow the nutrition guide? But still eat healthy...? If you can share any success stories with pictures from P90X or any advice...that would be AWESOME..SO AWESOME! Thank you!!!

Sorry I don't have any pics. I would just like to encourage you though. I finally made it into phase 2 - week 5 and am enjoying this block of workouts a little more, but that might be because of the changeup!
If you miss a workout, just catch it the next day. I told my husband that this is called P90X but for me it will probably be P180X. Seriously though, just because you miss one (or even a couple) don't start over, just pick up where you left off.
I am not following the eating plan, but rather sticking to some other goals. I feel fine, have plenty of energy and all of that. I do add cardio (even on a cardio day), biking or walking.
I cannot speak to any weight loss, but I have read that most women see loss in the 2nd and 3rd phases. I know that my pants fit differently. I know that I am WAY stronger than I was when I started.
Carry on!0 -

Hello there Kristin, I did P90x Lean routine and loved it, I am glad I did that routine first because the classic has too many weight lifting that honestly I think I would have quit very quickly. I lost a total of 12lbs the first two months I cannot tell you on the inches because I did not measure myself. I did not follow the nutrition guide I just used MFP. But I was just starting with MFP and did not know all of the things I know now about how to eat right and healthy. I think if I would have known that before I would have lost more weight. I have my before and after pictures in my profile you can take a look at those0 -
About to leave work but just wanted to say check out my profile pics...completed P90X and loved it!!0

I'm not done yet, but will be in about 5 weeks! My day 1 and day 30 pics are somewhere around here......I'll find them later and post them here for you I have barely lost any weight at all, but I have lost some inches and I LOOK and FEEL way better!
It is TOTALLY worth the money!
I've been trying to stick to the nutrition plan and some days I do and some day sI don't. I have heard that you get WAY better results if you do the nutrition plan too
Anyway, off to take the kids for a run I'll try and post those pics later0 -

I will be starting the week 12 of P90X this week and to date I have lost 15 pounds and a TON of inches. Don't have the final count yet, but I can definitely tell a difference. I don't have the confidence yet to share photos, but will get there eventually. Next up will be Insanity for 60 days and then I will do P90X again. This was my third time doing P90X, but my first time making it this far. And I am so happy that I stuck it out! 90 days go by like nothing. If I had stuck it out the previous two times, I would have already probably made it to my goal weight by now. But I wasn't ready to be committed back then. Something finally clicked this time around and I am fully committed to me! And it feels GREAT!!!!
Edit - I am not following the nutritional plan but am just counting calories here on MFP and I try to eat back half of my workout calories. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending on how hungry I am.0 -
Bump for later.0

I just received my copy of P90X today. I'm very excited to start the program in the next couple of weeks. I read through all the material today and discovered that there is a P90X Lean routine. I will definitely being starting off with this. I feel like when do a hard workout like this its best to ease yourself into it so you wont get discourage. I love that transformation and success stories I see with people you have done this program. Just amazing. :happy:0

I've graduated from P90X recently and had lost 21 lbs (131lbs to now 110 lbs - Jan '11 - April '11). The first week I tried it, I was so frustrated with it, I put it aside. I was really out of shape and found it difficult. Two weeks later I tried it again and vowed to stick with it and I'm super glad I did. Not only did I lose weight, but I gained muscle definition. As my body got stronger I was able to do the exercises like Tony and his crew. My body now looks like it did when I was in my 20s (39 now). I did the meal plan for the fat burn stage, but then I was bored with eating the same stuff and just stuck to well portioned organic grass fed lean meats and organic veggies and fruits that were on the Michi ladder. Now I am doing Insanity and I don't believe that I could of ever started this new program without doing P90X first, so it has also improved my fitness level greatly. I started with the classic and then moved onto doubles. Good luck, this is a fantastic program!0
