They're both made by Kellogg's and seem to have basically the exact same ingredients only corn flakes has a lot more iron which I need. Do they taste the same?

Frosted flakes are sugar covered corn flakes.0

I like Frosted Flakes.

They're GRRRRREAT! But I prefer Count Chocula.0

Frosted Flakes are yummier, imo, because of the sugar coating:) Maybe you could try the corn flakes and sprinkle a bit of stevia to imitate the frosting?0

Not the same...frosted flakes are coated with sugar...corn flakes are not.
I would double check the nutrient comparison on those...Im sure that frosted flakes, even if it has more iron, also has more sugar and more calories as well.
Not that I'm saying one thing or another about it. Id buy frosted flakes over cork flakes any day.0 -

I buy cornflakes and add sugar to it. Corn flakes are cheaper, and you get to choose how much sugar to put on your cornflakes. TADA!!0

I don't know about that.
I add frozen sugared strawberries to my cornflakes and that *kitten* is off the hook good. And bonus strawberry milk afterward ftw!0 -
Why would they taste the same?0

One is coated in sugar, the other isn't.0

Corn flakes taste pretty good though. Add some fruit to it.0

I like bacon.0

...is this a real question?0

Here's an idea... why don't you buy two boxes of cereal and taste them yourself? You could even have a friend help you set up a blind taste test! To mix it up, add in cornflakes with sugar as a third option!0

Yes
corn flakes you can control the amount of sugar you have/add.
Frosted Flakes you can not.

I looove frosted flakes, and the milk left in the bowl. However corn flakes is probably the healthier choice. Like ppl have said add some sugar. Or use sweetened almond or soy milk and add fresh berries.
The other thing my mom would do to keep us from eating too much sugar was to mix both together. That was pretty acceptable0 -

Tell me more about these frozen sugared strawberries, please?? How do you make them? Chop them up, toss em in a bunch of sugar (how much), freeze? How do you keep the berries from sticking together?BeardedStudWarrior wrote: »I like bacon.
That's nice, buddy0 -

See I don't think they do. I mean obviously that's what they are technically but the frosting changes the flavor/texture to me. Corn flakes with sugar are good, and frosted flakes are good, but I still wouldn't say they're the same.0 -

They might have a similar taste, but the texture would be different. I would still choose frosted flakes over corn flakes + sugar because the sugar coating seems to mean they don't get as soggy so quickly.0 -
Hmm just realizing I probably couldn't do frozen strawberries. I take my cereal with warm milk - always nuke it in the microwave first. The strawberries would get extra soggy very quickly I imagine if I toss them in warm milk?0
