Calculating marinades?

Marinating some chicken today for dinner tonight. How would you calculate the additional calories from the marinade or do you really need to?

I do calculate it. It's pretty simple: Build your recipe into the recipe builder to get the calorie content for it or measure out the portion if it's from a bottle. Weigh the marinade, and then weigh what is leftover in the bag after you marinate the chicken. Subtract that from your recipe's overall weight to track the calories absorbed by the chicken.0

I have never bothered...the amount of marinade that actually sticks to the meat is pretty miniscule...worrying about a couple of additional calories from a marinade is not really worth the time, effort, and energy IMO. It's pretty inconsequential.0

In my experience, marinades add about 50 calories per serving. Counting it or not depends on how tight you want your calculations and deficits to be.0
