Iv never posted anything here before so hello to all!
I have tried to look up how to add just egg whites into my food diary but I'm either doing it wrong or just have no idea what I'm doing lmao. Is there a way to add just egg whites into myfitnesspal? They are just regular eggs that you have to crack, not egg whites that you can buy in a carton. Even though that may be easier I don't buy the groceries right now so I have what I have. If anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Just search egg white raw (no 's') and look for the entry that doesn't have a *. Best bet is to weigh them as you crack them into a bowl.0

Don't forget to specify the size of your eggs as well--medium, large, jumbo etc. I usually search for "egg whites large" or "large egg white only", things like that. Try to pick one that looks reliable or confirmed as correct numerous times. A large egg white is usually about 17 calories.0

Dumb question but have often wondered what the * denotes?

costs to much for me here- 24 eggs costs me a little over 5 bucks.
The equivelent 14 egg whites costs also over 5 bucks.
Which is unfortunate- so I buy more eggs and pretty much waste the egg yolks. Shameful waste- but true.0 -
oh fair enough then0

One of my frustrations with the app is that it doesn't include the *. The * means it's an entry made by another user. If you look up foods on the web site you'll see them.0
