How often do you weigh?

About 3 times a week0

I don't weigh myself. Lol. My personal trainer weighs me once a month. I probably have to start weighing every week or so though. Since I'm not counting calories anymore. Don't want the weight creeping up on me again.0

Every other week0

I weigh when I visit my parents. Don't have a scale of my own, but I'm actually happy with that, or I would be on it twice day or so. I do take measurements.0

every friday morning, as soon as i get up (after i've been to the bathroom )0

Daily or whenever I want. I find the not knowing more of a distraction and am fine with fluctuations I just like data.0

I was pleasantly surprised this morning to be 2lb lighter than my last recorded weigh-in just 2 days ago! Hope I'm still the same when it comes to logging it this Friday as this would be my best ever loss.
weighed myself a couple years ago.0 -
I'm only recently back on MFP but in the past I'd log it once a week but sneakily jump on the scales in between. Mondays are always depressing after the weekend. I also measure weekly as it's a real boost if your weight hasn't changed but your body shape has.
That said, years ago when I went to Curves (we moved so I stopped) they would measure and weigh and check body fat once a month. I think that was a very healthy way to go as when I was on WeightWatchers even more years ago I'd end up getting depressed about 1lb or 2lb gained when really that could go with one big poo! I'm too curious to leave it longer than a week weighing at home but try not to get too upset week to week.
Jeez, I sound like a proper yo-yo dieter. I'm 32 and it's always been a struggle as I'm 5'1" with the appetite of a 6 footer!0 -
I use to daily but I plan to stop TODAY and start weekly. I did my weekly weigh in yesterday and was happy with the number. Got on this morning and was 3.2 lbs heavier. It really broke my heart. So I am getting my hubby to hide the scale and only give it to me on Sunday mornings for my weekly weigh ins.0

Once every week or two. I used to be obsessed and weighing myself multiple times a day so I dont want that to happen again0

I only log my weight in MFP on Saturdays, whether I'm up or down. I weigh daily, and log and track in the Monitor Your Weight app. I don't focus on the numbers per se, but when I'm feeling down, or like my body isn't changing then I look at the graph of daily weigh-ins logged in the monitor your weight app. The downward trend of the graph always makes me happy!0

Twice a day, every day. I like seeing a lot of data points, it puts fluctuations into perspective for me. I have enough information that I feel comfortable knowing what my weight range currently is. It tends to fluctuate in a 2.5 pound band at any time, I pick the number in the middle and use that for my MFP official weight.
Once a week is what's usually recommended, but it made me crazy. Just one salty dish or a new workout could throw that one weigh-in off with fluid retention, hiding my steady progress. Weighing myself a lot has given me so many data points that I feel pretty comfortable with a routine of the weight range dropping by about a pound a week, then stagnating completely for TOM, then resuming when Shark Week is over. I average out to about .5-.75 pounds lost a week, which is right what I'm shooting for at this point, hopefully slowing down even more as I'm close to goal.0 -
I quit doing it as it made me depressed. I just keep wearing smaller clothes and enough.0

Daily, and I only log losses. It doesnt stress me out at all but rather keeps me sort of informed with whats going on with my body. Usually when Im up in weight I can pinpoint why and can usually estimate when the scale will move again. Its the norm to me0

I try to weigh in each morning but some days I am in a hurry and forget. I would say 2-3 times a week. I usually skip the week leading up to a certain "event" because I tend to gain water weight and don't want it to deter my motivation. Then I wait and see if there is a downward trend after it has passed. I would say to focus more on measurements especially if you have gained muscle. But I log weight to benefit the app mostly.0

I weigh every morning, first thing. I think it is easier to track normal fluctuations and long term trends that way, but ymmv.0

I have to do it only once a week. If I weigh every day, it damages my psyche and motivation.0
