After sadly putting away my size 8 in exchange for my size 12s I want to healthily lose 30 pounds. Goal of 150. Friends and fellow weight losers welcome!

Am in exactly same situation mourning my size 8s! Hope we can motivate each other in future.

Me too Clare, I've been awful about getting to gym. But once this icky cold is over I'm going back. But in the meantime I want to be good about my diet.

I am right where you are. I was in a size 8 for 3 years. Went through a divorce. Stopped working out as well as picked back up bad eating habits. I'm now a size 14. Time for a change

I found it hard over Christmas and have struggled throughout the winter but am really determined now to stick to a good eating plan. No more slip ups...hopefuly.

I started at 252 pounds about 3 years ago. But last year I really plateaued at 180; so I spent the year going on fad diets determined to lose the last 30. Got down to 155. But then, when I stopped dieting I gained it all back. So now I'm back to slow and steady wins the race.

I'm sorry to hear that, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one starting over after a roller coaster of the last few years. I've used this app in the past, but today's the first time I've used a community forum. It's a nice to talk to people in the same place, besides, my Facebook friends don't want to hear about gym or my diet. Lol

Yeah, I hope we can help each other. If you slip up, try not to beat yourself up too much. Ice cream guilt is good for no one! It's my first day back in awhile. But my plan for that is to log my bad days, even if I don't meet my calorie goals for a day, at least I can look back and see what happened/ why (if) I didn't meet my weight goal.
