Yes, too many crumpets, yummy or not. What did you slather on them? You could cut down on everything else for the rest of the day, but if this were me, I'd be in a coma-like sleep state right now.

Too many for what? Life? Weight loss? Feeling good?

I don't know how many calories were in the crumpets (100?), but I would be more conscious of the calories than the carbs.

I only had marmite(30 cals) and I had calories left :)

Did they keep you from meeting your protein and fat goals?

If yes, then too many crumpets.

Okay, you lost me at Marmite, but if you had calories left and you're in that part of the world where crumpets and Marmite are popular, its a lot later in the day than it is here in the American Midwest. Try not to do that too often.

Why? Is there something magic about it being later in the day?

Can only speak from my experience, but if those crumpets fit into your total goal for the day's calories and you're not skimping on protein (a very important part of every day's cals), then log them and move on. Doesn't matter if you ate them in the a.m. or p.m., total calorie intake for the day is total calorie intake for the day. Just don't make a habit out of eating like that everyday 'cause you'll be losing out on nutritional values that are key to staying healthy.

Eating that much right before bed can slow down your metabolism. I'm just gonna run away now, because this is a very unpopular theory on MFP, where hormones don't seem to matter to anyone...

OP - if they fit your calorie and macro goals then no, they are not too many.
