You're doing well, you've lost 7lbs in the first week, you're motivated... Then you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror looking huge

    Try this. Every time you pass something that weighs 5 lbs or 7 lbs or whatever amount you've lost, pick it up and be reminded that that amount of weight isn't on you anymore. It works real well in the grocery store where you can pick up bags of sugar in 5 lb increments.
