Arm chafing

Monday I noticed that I had a red area on my inner upper arm. I assumed that the seam of my shirt sleeve had rubbed while I was walking. It was a regular t-shirt. Tuesday I put on one of my more fitted Danskin tops and it happened again. It's an area that hits the lower part of my armpit and any seam. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? It's quite painful!

I use vaseline or cocoa butter. Don't use lotion, that doesn't help. There is a product, I think called glide or something like that they sell it at running stores. I think it is not as greasy and it works great. I used it to prevent "chub rub" and it was great.

    Bodyglide!!

BodyGlide is great stuff! You can pick it up in any sporting goods store. It comes in a small grey tube and looks very much like a stick of deodorant.

I live in a small town that does not have a fitness store. I used the aquafor I have in the house and it worked really well on the sore spots. Thanks for the suggestions!
