Im curious if anyone knows the secret to figuring out the serving size in package food.I don't have a scale as of yet
so im trying to see if I can guesstimate it. For example is 1/4 a package a cup? 1/2c?
If anyone can help me along that'd be awesome![ ](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smiley.png)
Thanks!

It depends on the food, brand, etc. what does the serving size say on the back?0
-
it says its 60 calories per 1/4 package and its a 85 gram bag (jerky)0
-
When I didn't have a scale I just opened the bag up and separated the jerkey into 4 equal portions as best as I could. And then eat one of those portions!0
-
¼ package = 60 calories = 22 ¼ grams = .8 ounces0

I like the four sections! im gonna do that for my snack, craving salty ...
Thanks for the help0
