just a choice I guess. Positive moderation on first posts would be another option ie needs to be approved by a human. Blocking *.in is another (done by my local library).0 -

Not sure I would bother, there is a lot of them but I imagine there won't be too many people looking at those old posts. How did you discover them?0

Don't worry so much about those
The new posts trying to sell.. well.. all-sorts (I'm sure I've seen it all) and direct you to the furthest parts of the internet are the ones we are concentrating on the for the most part!
(Oh and those pesky astrologers! Of course!!)

To be fair I wasn't so much 'saying' anything with it.. I just really like the gif(hey, what could possible beat a cute hedgehog at breaking up spam!!)!!
I like this thread, it's great to see everybody really getting stuck in and helping rid our awesome community of spam!!

I have flagged it, but it is really against the rules, the spam flag is for botspam only, and this must have been posted by a person.

For posts like those I think it's more effective to report it for advertising instead of flagging it as spam.
