today if my first day here. I currently weigh my highest ever at 280pounds. I have always been active but have not been one to count calories or watch what I eat. I have already failed my first test today by cracking open a mt dew as I had the shakes. Would love to read more on how others are successful.

You can do it. You just need to make it a habit. Always track what you eat, maybe even get a food scale to be more exact. Set remainders on your phone to always track what you eat. The weight will fall off. You could try finding how many calories / macronutrients you need each day by going to iifym.com/iifym-calculator and filling out the calculator. You just need to constantly track your food and hit your calorie goal, and you will lose weight. I have faith.0
