I save some of my calories for something sweet everyday. It keeps me nice and satisfied.0

Peanut butter on toast. Cures my craving every time. Weird but true. Lol0

It's ok to indulge, as long as you have room for it in your calories. A world without chocolate is not a world worth living in. Just don't overdo it. A good alternative when you want something sweet is to reach for some fruit, or yogurt, or if you are seriously craving sweet, go for some plain yogurt with honey and granola. mmmmmm.0

leave room.
enjoy the chocolate.0 -
I'll second the peanut butter on toast. Except I use almond butter. Maybe something salty with a little bit of protein helps knock the sugar-stupor out of my mouth, but it works for me.
Also, I'm a big fan of adding crystal light to water. I use the individual packs (supposed to mix with 16 oz water) and add it to my 32 oz water bottle. Helps me get through the afternoon when I'm really struggling with my sweet tooth.
Good luck!

I eat the chocolate. Every day.0

I have yet to conquer the sweet tooth dilemma. Chocolate can be beat a bit easier. There's 10calorie powder that you could make hot cocoa with. If you need more protein, try a powder protein formula in chocolate.0

I eat some chocolate. I love the Fiber One 90 calorie brownies for a treat. As long as the treats fit in my goal, I eat them.0

Have you tried Arctic Zero Ice Cream?? I'm not sure where you are located but in my area they are sold at the local super markets or your local Walmart.

I'll second the Fiber One brownies. Also, I have the same issue, especially after dinner. But if I get some really good, high quality chocolate, or even ice cream (and I've made sure to leave some extra calories in the budget), then all I need is just a little square, or one small scoop. If the flavor is there, and the quality is good, then I'm not tempted to over do it.0

If you use the search function and look for chocolate or sweet tooth that will throw up many threads with all the info you could want including methods to deal with a sweet tooth and chocolate alternatives.0

I have a chocolate mousse for dessert every night (90 cals per pot), and two good quality chocolates from a box later in the evening (100 cals). I couldn't give them up.
With good quality chocolate, it's so rich that you won't want to devour loads of it! (unlike cheap bars where a 200g bar can disappear!).
I plan my day to include these.0 -
As so many people have said, just keep calories for it. About four times a week I have a Snickers Bite Size at night. They're only 80 calories, so not that hard to plan around. I just add them into my snacks early in the day so I am always planning around them.0

I was in a really bad habit of needing dessert after every meal when I started this. Partly I just had to retrain my mind a bit and tell myself "no, you are not getting that right now". My cravings got alot better with time and now its only everyone in a while when I really need something sweet (and of coarse TOM brings cravings on for me)
I keep chocolate around for when I need it, anymore I prefer to just eat strait chocolate like a hershey bar than something chocolately flavored, like a cupcake or whatever. I find I can take care of the craving with 110 calories in half a hershey bar way better than 300 calories in a chocolate cupcake.
There is not really any one size fits all solution to this, do some experimenting and figure out what food work for you.

My favourite thing when I'm craving chocolate is a mug of Options Hot Chocolate. It's 40 calories, and although it's not real chocolate, it's sweet enough to give me that hit.
Or, like others have said, I just eat the chocolate and make sure it fits into my calories. At the moment I'm eating a lot, because I'm trying to get rid of the supplies we have in the house. It's a thankless task, but somebody has to do it...0 -

Like others, I make sure to leave enough room for a sweet treat every night. I can do without during the day, knowing that I can have X that night.
My current fav treat is a mounds ice cream bar. 180cals and delish!0 -

I tried that stuff a few weeks ago.....OMG...nasty! I know everyone's tastes will differ, but I couldnt stomach it. And I eat lots of artifical sweeteners daily (diet pop and splenda in tea, ff cool whip, etc...)
