Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for diet plans or meal replacement shakes? Counting calories isn't helping me much . I want to get better choices on what to eat . I'm . burning myself out on the same meals. Also I could use new friends to help modivate me. Feel free to add me . Thanks

What isn't working? What would a diet plan or meal replacement do besides making things more boring?0

If you are weighing everything, choosing correct database entries, not over-estimating exercise burn, hitting an actual deficit, and still not losing weight, I am not sure what you think a diet shake will do for you.0

I am sorry but if you are not in a deficit then that is why you are not losing. So your calorie count either has you at maintenance or in surplus and that is why no gain.
do you own a food scale?
do you log everything that you eat?

There are many awesome clean eating recipes out their that are filling and yummy! My hubs and I are eating a lot of cooked veggies and turkey. Turkey is lean so replacing other meats with that or chicken will help cut some numbers. Try making healthy alternatives of things you already love. If you need ideas go on Pinterest or YouTube they're tons of yummy clean dishes out there0

Counting works perfectly for me. But i WEIGH ALL my solid food and Measure all my liquids.
Lost almost 80 pounds in 5 months.
Meal replacements will not learn you portion control, a healthier lifestyle and maintaining that way your weight.
If you want to start making better choices than you get rit of the idea of meal replacements. And what is the use to be on a calorie counting site when you want to travel the road of meal replacements?
Only cost you a lot of money.
But up to you.0 -

If OP is not properly estimating calories and over eats on "clean" food then she will still gain weight….
eating "clean" has nothing to do with weight loss….0 -

Okay ..thanks everyone for some of the positive feedback . Im.talking about diet plans such as paleo diet or anything like it. I eat healthy all the time . I don't always weigh my food and I do workout . I just get bored with eating grilled chicken or fish all the time ..So I was wondering what other food ideas were people doing . No need for rude comments .0

And here is your problem straight away
You can eat everything! Only you have to weigh your food
Look at the video and open your eyes.
I lost almost 80 pounds in 5 months this way.

No one was really being rude. Just kind of explaining why calorie counting wasn't working for you. You don't need a specific meal/diet plan. And you don't need to eat grilled chicken and fish all the time. Have a look at some of our diaries. You'll see everything from ice cream to (yes) chicken, to chinese, salads, yogurts. Some people have really exciting diaries. Most of use who are doing it right, weighing food on a food scale, not over estimating our exercise burns, are losing weight eating whatever we want.0 -

and i wasnt rude to you.
But people here that promote other things than counting calories are on purpose on this site to earn money or promote other diets.
While this is clearly a calorie counting site...they even know that they are wrong because they do it in pm.
Now that is rude and taking advantage of the kindness of a site with a lot of members.

The beauty of calorie counting is that you can eat whatever you like.
Don't want chicken or fish?
Eat any protein, carbohydrate, fat that you want. Just understand your portion (a scale is a huge help) and account for the calories. Sick of grilled? Choose any cooking method you like. You don't even have to eat "healthy." Just make sure you account for the calories.
If you are bored, I don't know why you would want a plan that restricts you more. With calorie counting, every cooking method and food on the planet is in your diet. All you have to do is understand the calories involved.

no one is being rude. You asked for reasons as to why you are not losing and you are getting valid answers.
if you are not weighing all of your solid foods then you are underestimating calories and you are not in a calorie deficit.
if you do paleo and continue to eat in a surplus then you will not lose…
get a food scale
weigh/log/measure everything for a month
log everything into MFP for a month
report back ...0 -
You don't need to eat boring foods, or have a "diet" plan. Eat normal things, only in moderation.0
