Congrats! I'm hoping to be below 200 in the next month or so, myself.

Congratulations! You were able to do it faster than me even though a few years older! I started at over 220 in November and was below 200 by early this month (and still dropping, albeit a little more slowly), and my weight loss was a pretty regular 1 to 1.5 pounds a week (I suspect it is going to drop a little more slowly from here on). It is a great feeling - and for me less than 10 pounds to go to goal weight.

It surprised me that, although it is a challenge to exercise more (most every day in my case) and log all the food I eat every day, it has been much easier than I expected. Seems like common sense in retrospect, that MFP would work, but it still feels good - getting (and staying) below 200 has been such a nice feeling.

    Congratulations!

My first day was January 6 at 221 pounds. Today the scale read 199. So that's 10% of my weight, 22 pounds, in 80 days.

I lost 9 pounds in the first month, 7 pounds in the second and the rest since then. Hit a few plateaus, the longest about 2 weeks.

I'm using only MFP, watching the calories and not following any special diet. However, I'm staying away (most of the time) from the high calorie nuclear warheads.

I've also increased my exercise, mostly walking and bicycling.

The last time I was under 200 was probably 15 years ago, maybe more.

(In case you're wondering, I'm a 53 year old male)
Congratulations!!! How exciting. I'm close to getting there too. About 4lbs to get there, but still many more to lose.

The kitchen scale is far more important than the bathroom scale.

    AWESOME reminder for everyone.
