W3:D2: 1.88 miles/23 min (pace: 12:23)0 -
Week 3
Day 1: 1.90 miles/26 minutes (12:10 pace)
Day 2: 1.88 miles/23 minutes (12:23 pace)
Day 3: 1.96 miles/23 minutes (11.73 pace)
Total for week: 5.8 miles (includes cool down)
Total overall: 16.9 miles (includes cool down)
Successes: I feel like I am getting stronger and I am loving it. The struggle I am having right now is fear of moving on next week because I was challenged by week three already. My fat brain tells me that I need more time to lose 10 more pounds before I move on however my skinny brain tells me you can do this! Looking forward. Have a great next week everyone and just keep going!

So a month later I actually started. Week 1 Day 3!0

I just started Week 4 today. First two weeks I did on the treadmill, but now it finally got warm, so starting from Week 3 I run outside. I ran 5k three years (and 25 lbs ) ago, and want to do it again in May!
By the way there is a group for c25k:

Week 3
Day 1: 1.83 miles/23 minutes (12:34 pace)
Day 2: 1.84 miles/23 minutes (12:30 pace)
Day 3: 1.85 miles/23 minutes (12:26 pace)
I'm proud of myself for finishing this week, especially because of my random hip problem that lasted most of the week. I'm nervous for Week 4 because last time I did C25k I had to re-do it because I just couldn't finish. But this is a year later so I'm hoping I'm stronger now!
I'm so inspired by everyone on here. I'm glad I've found some friends on here to motivate me and push me to do my best.0 -

Week 4Day 1: complete close guesstimate on here as I'm back on the dang treadmill much to my dismay. I bumped the key and The machine stopped immediately and lost my info. Ticked me off as I was struggling hard enough to run today.
W4:D1: 2.1 miles/26 mins (12.38 Pace)0 -
Week 4
W4:D1: 2.1 miles/26 mins (12.38 Pace)

Week 4 done! Moving to week 50

Week 4
W4:D1: 2.1 miles/26 mins (12.38 Pace)
W4:D2: 1.8 miles/26 mins (14:44 Pace)
W4:D3:1.8 miles/26 mins (14.44 Pace)
Weeks Miles: 6.55
Overall Miles: 23.4
Praying I can make week 50 -
Week 4
Day 1: 2.15 miles/26:30 minutes (12:20 pace)
Day 2: 2.20 miles/26:30 minutes (12:03 pace)
Day 3: 2.24 miles/26:30 minutes (11:50 pace)
I survived! Week 4 may have kicked my butt last year when I did C25k for my first time, but this time around I beat it! I'm ready to take on Week 5 - even if the end of the week looks a bit intimidating.
So how's everyone doing now that we're about halfway through? Any successes? Any difficulties?0 -
Well done guys0

Week 5 is done! Starting week 6 tonight!

I started at the beginning of the month but have been so inconsistent that I have not allowed myself to go past week 10

Week 5
Day 1: 2.17 miles/26:00 minutes (11:59 pace)
Day 2: 2.27 miles/26:00 minutes (11:59 pace)
Day 3: 2.09 miles/25:00 minutes (11:58 pace)
4 more weeks to go! I signed up for my first 5k of 2015. It's on May 9 in the town I teach in - it's actually a fundraiser for the PTO! Since it's on the coast it'll be mostly flat ground but I've heard that the wind is the real challenge.
I'm hoping that by the end of C25k I can get down to at 11:30 or under pace. That's my new goal.0
