Since I've been getting fresh air everyday and feeling the sun's warmth I haven't overeaten whatsoever! Normally, I'm prone to binging on the weekends. Normally, I'm tempted to overeat with my favourite foods. I'm so happy to have found this link and wanted to share! To all those who struggle with overeating - it's worth a try! Get out and get some sun!

when you get vitamin D from the sun you feel better when you get lack of sunlight (vitamin d ) you get depressed and depressed people tend to want to eat for comfort. i live in a prime place for weight lose. we get maybe 2 inches of rain in a whole year and a whole bunch of sun shine0

I agree! I live in chicago and the weather is miserable half the year and affects everyones mood ...Once the weather gets nice Im in such a good mood and so active outside, and just naturally eat healthy. My best friend moved to Florida 3 yrs ago and has lost 90 lbs since moving there! She said she's never be able to lose it up here. This weather gets sooooo depressing.0

Makes sense, ladies! I live in Canada and we had such a long winter this year. I just can't believe the difference this is making. I feel so much better - it's like a complete black-and-white difference in how I feel.0

I live in Minnesota, so I feel your pain for this long, dreary winter. I started taking Calcium + Vitamin D supplements this year and I've noticed a huge difference in my mood and motivation. Last year I had a really rough time when winter started, I became exhausted all the time, indulged in caffeine for the first time in years, and generally felt terrible all the time. This year it's been a huge improvement.0

Each of my supplements contains 500 I.U. which is listed as 125% of the daily value. So I guess they are recommending 400 I.U. However, I end up taking two supplements a day because I need the extra calcium.0
