ive been doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Does anyone know how many calories or how to log that?

    I've seen most people log it as twenty or so minutes of "circuit training - general." As for calories burned, you'd have better luck using a heart rate monitor. MFP's exercise calories are generally inaccurate and exaggerated.

    You'll need a heart rate monitor to know for sure. Calorie burns are an individual thing person to person.
  • I do the same workout. Don't have a heart rate monitor so I had done what first user said. Used circuit training- general, 20 minutes.

    Someone told me there's a formula on her website that will tell you how many calories you burn per each workout. It's something like multiply your weight (in pounds) by the number 3.2 & then divide by 3. For me in comes out to around 160 calories per workout. Look on her website for the exact formula.
