so i started my period two days ago, and for the two days i was losing weight but today i gained two pounds back. Im asking because i ate 20 or 30 calories more than i usually do yesterday and i didn't drink as much. could one of these things have played a part in my weight gain or is it just a fluctuation?

    You are not going to gain weight because you at 20-30 extra calories yesterday. Water weight can fluctuate a lot during your period.

    It could. Either way, it isn't worth stressing about.

    I weigh myself daily and I see fluctuations of 1-6 pounds a DAY sometimes during that time of the month. I just note it and move on. It's the long-term trend that matters.

    there is an almost infinite list of things that could have played a part, just keep doing what your doing
