I know I'm not the first and definitely not the last to not want to eat better or work out but only get the results. I'm not even looking to lose weight necessarily (although a few pounds would definitely be nice), I just want to tone up my body and feel better.
the area that I'm only concerned about is my stomach. I would like to lose maybe 5-10 pounds but mostly I just want to flatten my stomach. I'm fine with every other area of my body. and I know it doesn't work that way :(
what are some good ways to just tighten up and flatten a stomach? should I be doing mostly cardio? should I be doing mostly strength training? what are some specific exercises that I can do to target this?
also, how long and how often should I be working out? if I want to knock this out as fast as possible should I be doing this 5-7 times a week? 30-60 min each time? or what is a reasonable time frame for each workout each week? and how long before I should expect to see results?

It's a lifestyle change. You can't just knock it out real quick and be done. You have to continue to eat right and exercise or you will lose it. You're right, it's hard but it's so worth it.

Oh boy - well first off, there's no easy way to say x will happen in y amount of time. It took me 10 months to get the stomach I wanted and I only wanted to lose 5-10 pounds as well. I do a combo of things - PiYo, HIIT, BodyBeast, etc. Every day it's something new more or less. My biggest gains have easily come from really working my core. Basically building my abs from the inside out.

I've been keeping track of calories for 20 days only going slightly over my goal 2 times and have only lost 3-5 pounds. In the last week I've lost nothing. I am very active. What else can I do.
