100 pounds in 14 months thanks to Gary Taubs' Why We Get Fat. I have a series of pics I've titled Fat Me that I am re-enacting in my new body.

    1. You did amazing work
    2. You have the best hair ever

    Thanks!
One day I was at a hospital, went to the nurses station and when she looked up she exclaimed, "You have Donnie Osmond hair!"

First image is from around October 14' and 2nd image is from March 2015. I've dropped 15 pounds but lost a bit of fat and inches. I focus mostly on weight training and gaining strength rather than just getting tiny. It's a slow process but I'm pretty happy with what I've accomplished thus far.

Still a work very much in progress but on January 5th I weighed in at 27 stone 3 (381 llb) and 85 days later with a much healthier diet with spin gym and swim I today weighed in at 21 stone 12 (306 llb). I am still as determined as I was at that first weighing too. Not sure how to attach a pic from my phone though xx

The before was before I joined MFP and now at my current weight. Still have so far to go but proud of the difference already! It's the motivation I get from your stories on here that keep me pushing! :)

Amazing! You look 20 years younger. You look like you could be your own daughter. :)

I'm still a work in progress but here goes.
The before pic was me around 155lbs. The after picture is 142lbs from February. I'm down another 4 pounds since then and I'm shooting for another 10 (I'm 5'4")

Still a work in progress! Started 2.5 years ago, so I'm a SLOW work in progress at that. But I still keep going! I have about 15-20 more to go. Got there by progressive lifting and doing whatever cardio doesn't bore me to tears!

ETA: Pic on left (taken Christmas 2011) I'm around 195, pic on right I'm around 143 (taken late February 2015).

I fell in love with the process and lifestyle, not where I want to be but who said I was stopping? One day, one workout, and one meal at a time. Trust and enjoy the whole process!

Hi. I am new. Only started 10 days ago when I topped the scale at 70kilos at my heaviest.. I am only 4'10 (lol I know!!!) so with a BMI of 32.2, I knew I had to do something.. I cut my calories down to 1200 and have been running for an average of 4 miles everyday for 9 straight days now and I already feel a lot better.. I lost about 6 lbs in 8 days but I think this is also due to my body getting shocked as I have not exercised all my life.. Lol. My target weight is 50-55 kilos so I still have about 20lbs to go.. Wishing everyone all the best with their journey.. <3
