how many steps is considered active on a pedometer? Is 12,000 steps a lot or average?

Thanks for that! I wonder whether getting your steps over the course of the day versus getting most of them in a long walk makes any difference? I wouldn't think it would matter but I've seen people say otherwise.0 -
Hi all, I'm a dieititan and work with physical therapists / recreational therapists who all tell me it doesn't matter how we get our activity in, it all counts. As far as aerobic activity; however, one has to be at it for at least 10 minutes.0
