    I had a fair bit of wind today too.... was being flicked and swatted by my ponytail at one point (and that stings!!!) Note to self.....ALWAYS put hair into a bun!!

    I'm in for 100km again.

    Started with a short run yesterday (no wind for me...)

    Two days in a row of 6:30AM runs. Not a morning person, but if it gets me some company for the run, and gets me out in cooler weather, I shouldn't complain too much.

    4/1 - 8 miles
    4/2 - 5 miles

    Total: 13 miles
    Goal: 145 miles
    Remaining: 132 miles

    We started our run yesterday along the lake (Saginaw Bay/Lake Huron) and I was happy to see all the open water.

    April 1 - rest -- hate to not run the first of the month but was traveling all day. In the future I am going to just get up really early if I am traveling and just do it!
    April 2- 6.01 miles - got to run in daylight so left the neighborhood! It was so fun! I'm working on the "lean" from Good Form Running -- when you do it right, there is very little effort!

    @shanaber - yep, it's always bittersweet to put my daughter on the plane back to school.
    @skippygirlsmom - you are going to do great in the HM!
    @daisy471 - wow that's beautiful!
    @briebee7 - that's the worst! It was very windy in Virginia when I was away and there was so much dirt being blown in my face one morning. It hurt and I was so dirty afterwards, with the sweat it was practically mud, lol.

    Sand = brutal. But, so awesome you get to run with your Mom!
