Fitness trackers--do you have one?

If you have a fitness tracker: which one do you have? Why did you choose that one? I am considering the Fitbit Surge, Microsoft Band, Basis Peak, or Mio Fuse. I have read reviews, followed forums, analyzed pros and cons until my head spins and can't make up my mind. Maybe your input will aid me in my selection.

I just finished analyzing all the data and decided just to get an Omron HJ 321 pedometer for $15 bucks. I figured instead of throwing down a $100 plus dollars, I should work on getting my 10,000 steps in daily for a few months and then decide if I need anything fancier. Just food for thought.0

I have the Fitbit One. I don't wear a watch or anything on my wrist - and don't plan to change that. The One clips to my pocket/waist/whatever. For the clipon style, it seems to be the most reliable. And though its really just a fancy pedometer, I like that it tracks my data/connects by Bluetooth/syncs wirelessly etc. I've worn pedometers before and they don't last. Somehow, for me, this was different than 'just' a pedometer.0

I have had fitbit charge for 3 months now. I like that it has a clock and vibrating/flashing alarm so no more waking up to annoying beeping. The stair counter isn't very accurate but that's the only con. I am super satisfied.0

I have a fitbit flex.
I've had pedometers. Id use them then lose them or lose interest.
I've worn the flex daily for almost several years now.
I find IT motivating.
I find the competitions etc. motivating.0 -

Very nice point. My fitbit charge has the vibrating alarm as well. Took a couple mornings to get used to but its really nice to wake up to something other than an alarm.
If my memory suits me the only difference between the charge hr and surge is GPS. If you're not planning on doing your walking outside you could save a few bucks by just getting a charge hr.

I just got my Charge today. I had it before but sent it back as I wanted the Blue one, not Black. The Blue is Royal In color and not as dark as it looks online. Only had it on my wrist for 4 hours and I've already met my 10,000 step goal. I would have got the Charge HR but the reviews for the HR feature were mixed and I wouldn't use it over my Polar FT 7 anyway. I love how easy the Charge syncs with MFP.0

I just got a Garmin Vivoactive. I've use a Jawbone Up for the last year maybe 2 years and loved it. The only downside with the Up band is i had to replace it 4 times.
The Garmin does it all, active tracker, runners watch, swimming watch that works inside and outside.0 -
I used a Bodymedia armband for 3 years and wore it out. I used a Spark Activity Tracker for 1 year and wore it out. I've been using a Garmin Forerunner 305 for more years than I can remember and it's still going strong but I've handed it over to my husband because I now have a Garmin Vivoactive and I LOVE it!0

Does anyone know of a fitness tracker that records HR without a chest strap, calorie burn, steps? An extra bonus would be info about sleep. I had read lots of reviews and literature but it seem that I may be asking too much and can't find one that does it all!0

I have the fbit charge. I love it i find i am more active with it since all my stats are on my wrist. I now get my 10,000 steps a day0

Have the Fitbit Charge HR & love it - only had it about 2 weeks. Agree the stair tracker isn't so accurate and my battery doesn't seem to last long. But the weekly email report really spurs me on and syncs to MFP easily.0

If you decide on a mio product and an android phone be warned that the software is absolute crap compared to other brands.
I have the mio alpha 2 which is great hardware especially for swimming but the software is next to useless0 -

I just got the Misfit Shine. U can wear as clip or on wrist. It tracks steps, calories burned, and sleep. It syncs over bluetooth and works with this app. I'm still new with it so not sure on HR.0

The Charge HR is a neat product if you are starting out. The interface is amazing and if you are just starting out it works fine for 75% of the population.
I am looking at the vivoactive, just because I trust the chest strap for higher intensity work, but if I weren't doing that the Charge HR would be just fine.0 -
I got a Microsoft Band the other day, and so far it's pretty excellent. It's HR is pretty off when you're warming up, but it seems to be decently accurate when you have your heart rate going.0

I have the BodyMedia FIT and I LOVE it... sad that it is discontinued. Still waiting for the Jawbone UP30
