How to count calories in my daily cooking food?

I'm from Bangladesh. Rice is our main food. We take cooked vegetables, fishes and meats with rice. Our breakfast, lunch and dinner contains recipes that are different from other countries. We commonly use soybean or mustard oil, spices(such as turmaric, red pepper, cumin, coriander etc, as powder) and Onions, garlics in cooking all types of vegetables, fishes and meats. We also add potatoes in most of our regular recipes. So, how can i know how much calorie i'm taking? As i'm not finding the foods i take.

If your making the food, use the recipe builder here on MFP. Manually enter all the ingredients you used and how much. Specify number of servings and it will tell you how many calories per serving.0

A small digital food scale is helpful. I cook at home a lot too and sometimes have to measure or weigh my portions to enter them on here. Things like rice will typically have the nutrition content listed and you can search for rice and then add how many grams or rice you had. If I can't find a dish I will try and break down what in the dish and add the ingredients separately. It's a bit of a process, but worth the effort. MFP will automatically save the foods you eat frequently and you can add foods to the database.0
