my dad always used to call me Gertrude.
it wasnt till i was a little older that i realized that Gertrude was an actual name and not a term of endearment like i had thought it to be.
i still dont know why. and my father probably doesnt either. it is a mystery.0 -
Some would take way too long to explain so I'm not sharing those.
But: My dad has called me Iggywitz forEVER. Usually he just shortens it to Iggy.0 -
My name is Alyssa
Ah-WHEE-ah!! - when my little half-brother couldn't say my name properly. and then my stepbrother and cousin picked it up. :P
Lyssa or Lyssie by friends and cousins
Sugarbear! by my dad
Babycakes by my mom. another embarassing parent-dubbed pet name :P and she had a song with it too that she'd sing... lol.
Aly by my best friend in 6th grade through middle school.
I gave myself the name Ridiculyss. I've said about myself how ridiculous I can get, in negative and positive senses. I procrastinate constantly in schoolwork and it gets me into some serious trouble and I never seem to learn. Therefore, I'm ridiculous. In the positive sense, I am a total goofball, and when I'm with my friends and having fun I tend to go sorta nuts. especially if we have music on, I never shut up in singing along to it. I can keep up with most intense rap songs, too. and therefore, I iz Ridiculyss. :] lol.0 -

Oddly enough, my parents called me Twiggy when I was a little girl because I was so thin. They also called me Lily because I always wanted to pretend to be Lily Munster.0
