Logging oatmeal

Hi, i am new to MFP. how do i log oatmeal? When i scan the product i add it but what about milk and sugar? Do i add thouse manually or just the product scan?

Log everything you eat / drink that contains calories.
If you are adding milk and sugar to oatmeal then these should be logged as well as the oats.0 -
When I eat oatmeal, I add each ingredient I add individually. I scan the bar code, then, if I'm not having a full serving, I adjust the serving size to what I'm actually eating. Today, I had McCann's steel cut oatmeal; I scanned it in as I had a full serving. I added Honeywell peanut butter powder; again, I scanned this as I had a full serving. Then I manually added a banana, as there's no bar code on it.0

I guess I should have added how to adjust a serving. After you scan the item, the nutritional information comes up, at the top the serving size is in blue and is a link. Tap on the serving size and a keypad comes up, allowing you to adjust the serving.0
