I honestly can't think of one. My mom is a decent, but very basic, cook and I generally prefer my own cooking over hers. The one thing I love is her stuffing at Thanksgiving, but I got the recipe from her years ago when we moved away, so I've made it myself for the past decade or so.

My mum hasn't really ever cooked anything that I would call special really, bless her x She is a very basic cook. However, she does do the most amazing chocolate trifle! <3:p

She made a killer tuna casserole that I can't seem to mimic no matter how many times she gives me the recipe

Mom's apple pie! Her crust was always light and flaky and perfect. Mom also made the best turkey stuffing. She told me how she did it, but I still don't get the proportions right.

Mom also made the best deviled eggs but the key to that was a homemade salad dressing which I make myself so I can duplicate hers. It starts out with apple cider vinegar so it has a great flavor you can't get with purchased dressings or mayo.

I used to get so sick of my mom's cooking growing up because she'd always cook the same things and came from the meat and potatoes generation. Now when I go to visit it's my dad who cooks usually (and I do love that). But now that I live on my own, I love holiday dinners. It's the one meal mom still has a hand in. Her turkey stuffing can't be beat! Thank god we only have it about 2-3 times a year! :o

My Mom is a terrible cook - seriously. But the one she does make well are baked beans. They have just the right sweetness, and big hunks of bacon. Yum!

My mom makes great ham pot pie. I just won't make it since I find making the noodles tedious.

Dinaguan-meat and/or offal (typically lungs, kidneys, intestines, ears, heart and snout) simmered in a rich, spicy dark gravy of pig blood, garlic, chili (most often siling mahaba), and vinegar

Of course with white rice too.
