Why do people love this?
I just made it for the 1st time and it's one of the worst things i've tasted! Lol
Give me a Bread based Pizza any time.

"Real Pizza" (Pizza Hut) is one of the thing's that got me here in the 1st place! Lol
Maybe i'll try making it again but with Flatbread or something.

I like the flatout light or a pita. Crisp it in the oven first, then add toppings and throw it back in. You can make bbq chicken, Thai, Mexican, "traditional" and end up with a 300 calorie personal sized pizza.0

I use the low carb wraps as a crust for a pizza. I saw on a cooking site that some people will have a breat of chicken pounded out, to a very thin consistency and they use that for a crust. If you use the chicken, you will of course have to use a cooking spray so the meat will not stick to the pan.0

The Pitta sounds good actually, and i do like the idea of the Chicken.....but i prefer a Carb base.

When I make mine, this is what the pizza (5 ounces of dough) looks like:

Flat Outs and Boboli (the small ones) aren't bad. I do that on occasion. I loooove pizza though so I just avoid it and only pig out on it maybe once a month (and by pig out I mean three slices of a 12" from someplace like Papa John's or similar). If I'm going to have it.....I want what I want. Whole grain toast with cooked hamburger and pizza sauce on it also works. Top it with low-fat mozzarella if you want. It's really good - but it isn't take-out!0

I do this too. Often I open up the pita and make two pizzas that are thin and very crispy. 384 cals total with sauce, cheese, onions, and mushrooms. Love it!0 -

I really like the cauliflower version, but I use "good" cheese and it makes a difference. Who am I kidding, any pizza flavored food product has been on my over-indulge list for years. I had a Totino's monkey on my back until recently. I blame the addictiveness of MSG for that one.
The above site has a great pan pizza recipe, too. One made in a 10 inch cast iron pan filled up my 3 kids.0
