    Actually, this is exactly what I was telling myself recently. I just started back on MFP and I'm losing slowly, not doing everything perfectly but at least I've lost 9 sticks of butter. And I am motivated to keep going.

    Now up to a modest 15 sticks of butter. Still feels good.

    Ive lost 44 sticks so far!

    When I did Weight Watchers in the past my leader brought in a zip lock bag with a lb of raw chicken breast to show us what a lb looked like. I loved that. It helped me appreciate every lb I lost.
