A million dollars isn't what it used to be...I doubt a whole lot would change for me other than having a tad bit more freedom. I wouldn't be able to quit my job or anything...a million dollars wouldn't last long.

    Liposuction!

Nah, just kidding. I’d pay off my debt, invest the rest, and eat more lobster

Full cosmetic makeover, new house and car with enough land for my friends and family to build their own places on, totally complete my vintage videogame collection, open an 80s themed arcade/fast food joint.

I'd spend parts of it in several ways:
    1. Help family/friends. If there would be any left, I'd...
    2. Meet my own needs. If any remained after that...
    3. Honorable charity, here it comes!

Pay off our mortgage, help the kids, take a nice vacation, invest the remainder for retirement and likely cut down to a 4 day work week.

Buy a house for my partner and myself, get some clothes and jewelry I've been thirsting over (which would quite honestly not be expensive), get my partner the high-end Italian tailored suit he's been dreaming of, get myself a much better laptop, get my friends and family gifts, put the rest in a bank.

First thing I'd do would be to change it into euros so I could actually spend it.

Then I'd pay off all my debts, buy a nice house (not too big, I don't want to be cleaning a huge house!), nice car, pay my dad off so my mum can keep the house then put the rest away.

    Get married LOL
We dont even have a big wedding planned and its still costing an arm and a leg.

Then buy a 4 bedroom brick veneer home with a big *kitten* deck on a big block in the same area we currently live in, so the kids have a backyard worthy of playing in (ours is kinda small atm and not overly kid friendly).

Take the kids and partner travelling around Australia and Asia.

    Money spent. ;)

Get my partner treated (finally) privately, pay off our student loans, buy a small place so we're not stuck renting anymore, then stick the rest away.

I have money..i get up work out and go to work. Come home have dinner bike visit friends go out on weekends and party hard maybe once a month. I try and take a nice vacation once a year. My car is 5 years old. A million isn't a lot of money and investing sucks. It's another job in itself managing money...sorry rambling...waiting for club to open.

First, pay off all my debt! After that, I would hire Brom to do the artwork, or at least some of it, for the tabletop RPG setting book that I am writing.

I would buy a couple of 4 unit apt buildings. Use the cash flow to pay for my 4 or 5 bedroom house in the Oakland Hills.

Buy a small house with enough room for my own private gym.

    A nice used car.

Save the rest and live off the interest.
