Weird Trend in my weight loss

Does anyone else notice they have a specific day of the week where they meet their "lowest weight" or whatever you want to call it? I try hard during the week while at work to eat right, count my calories and go to the gym a few nights a week...However during the week my weight seems to stay pretty stagnant ( i weigh myself daily) . But it seems like every Sunday morning is my lowest weight. I still watch what i eat on the weekends but usually have functions to attend where a healthy diet isn't easy to follow, and very rarely work out on the weekends...Yet that is when i seem to lose the most. Does anyone else notice this trend? It makes it hard to stay motivated during the week cause that is when i try the hardest but see the least results.

Anyhow, just my random thought of th eday

Yup...if you are working out during the week and Take Saturday off that makes sense as the muscles will release gylcogen/water when you have given them a rest.

I weighed myself Saturday morning this week as I didn't workout on Friday night...did wonders for my numbers...I will have to figure it out this week as I will workout Mon/Tues Thur/Fri
and having a night out Saturday where we will be drinking and probably eating fast food at 2am...so for me looks like Thursday morning.

Just watch those trends you will see...oh and try not to weigh after chinese food night...never turns out so well.

Right, but... since we can't lose significant fat in one day, the results you see on the scale on Sunday morning took you all week to produce. It's just Sunday morning scale wizardry that has it showing up then. (aka you are retaining less water then or you're more dehydrated then or you have more empty bowels then, etc)

lol @ wizardry. I figured it had something to do with water retention. And being busier on the weekends i tend not to focus on food as much, versus when i sit at my desk all day at work, all i have is time to sit here and think about what/when im gunna eat next haha. Plus i think i tend to eat only 2 meals during the weekend (late breakfast and then dinner) versus 3 during the week (with snacks in between of course). Yesterday was a wedding with fried chicken/mac and cheese + champagne and not a vegetable in sight lol. Today i feel like death. Next weekend is a 6 mile walk for charity so hopefully thatll help even it out in the grand scheme of things.
