I'm losing weight to be more healthy and to look a-m-a-zing in a bikini
I was talking to a close friend of mine and she's losing weight because she feels like she can't "keep" a man with the body she has.. wrong reason?
what's yours?

Want to be able to buy nice clothes and look good. To be a healthy example to my daughter. To make my mum and my family proud of me. To have more energy, better skin and better sleep0

1. Because I'm getting married in a year and I want to feel awesome in my wedding dress!
2. So that I don't have to buy all new jeans! They're to expensive ugh0 -
Fit back in my original clothes, more room in my drawers and closet (my big "hide the chub" clothes take up a lot of space), have more energy (two months in and Pow! I'm loaded with energy), feel balanced, and so much more!
Op, you'll be rockin' that bikini in a snap!0 -
Get my belly button pierced, fit in to a size 00 again, and just over all health0

I no longer care about impressing anyone, just did it for health reasons and I didn't like what I saw in the mirror0

health, longevity, and vanity.0

pure vanity
I was always thin and let myself go the past few years and I want to be that size again0 -
To prove that it can be done and I'm not doomed to be overweight.
To be hot(ter)

Everyone around me is fit~0

For the sake of my hips, so that I may keep skating as long as possible.0
-
I'm just trying to get a leaner looking shadow.0

So I don't have to buy so much fabric for cosplays lol. Also, to look hot in my cosplays and to keep up with my skinny, fit and active bf.0

I lost weight because I wanted to feel better and not wake up in pain anymore. Now that I've been maintaining for over a year, I feel great.0

So I can fit back into my turnouts and be a bad *kitten*!0

I want to look good.0

Long distance cycling.
When I first thread this title, I thought you were asking about the mechanics of losing weight. Why am I losing weight? I'm eating fewer calories than I burn.0 -
So I could wear a bathing suit this summer without wanting to run off the beach screaming.0

I deserve to live an active & healthy life. I am not happy when I can't keep up with others or am in pain/out of breath because of my weight. I do not want to spend my later years sick or stuck in a chair when I can do something about it. I'm sure I will look better and it will be easier to get clothes that fit.
When I started I didn't realize I couldn't bend down to tie my shoe until one day I could do that. I didn't realize how tired I was all the time or how weak I was.

I would also like to wear my bathing suit to the river and swim all day while looking good0

Same here. I'm only middle aged but the path I was on...I don't believe I would've enjoyed my golden years.
So, I guess part of it is vanity as I want to be one of those old codgers that everyone is amazed at how I'm still in great shape for my age.0 -
For my health. I'm diabetic and just by losing the weight I have lost and being more active I'm seeing amazing numbers on my fasting sugar tests!0

For once in my life (that implies that it has never happened before), I would like to wear a bikini. I've lost 24kilos, and now I'm losing another 5, only because I'm busy with a recomp.0

I'm doing this for health reasons - and I'm feeling so much better having lost a bit of weight, so that is spurring me on to keep going. I've also discovered yoga and I'm finding the more weight I loose the more yoga postures I'm able to do well ... Lastly I'm keeping on losing weight because I've found I've only had to make minor changes in my diet to start the weight loss process.0

Born with heart issues and a stupid brain and finally got around to not be overweight, to give my heart a break.
Vsd plus some other things I can never remember, something to do with the clamping down on the main pipe from the heart, for those in the know.
Also not being the fatest person in my extended family is a plus. And just general fitness, I can do push ups now. Next step chin ups.0 -
Because who wants to be obese?
So i dont get asked again if im pregnant
To go snowboarding for the 1st time with my man
To enjoy life more
To do things i dont do b/c of my weight
To shop! And enjoy shopping!
To Prevent health issues
To feel pride in myself for accomplishing something i never thought i could
To not regret another day where i didnt do it
To look hot for my man
To look hot for me!
To not be humiliated when i run into someone i havent seen in forever
To inspire my family to do the same
I could probably go on and on. Theres thousands of reasons ive built up over the years.0 -
I want to be ok with me. And I don't want to buy bigger pants/shorts. And I live in HI, so essentially the most skin exposed state. And I want to be able to be active with my kids and go on hikes and bike rides. And health. And sex. And to help my knees be better. And to not look pregnant all the time. And to not have a double chin anymore. And to not have to unbutton my shorts when I drive.0

I need and want to stay in remission from the Cancer I had. For that to happen my doctor told me my body needs to be healthy to be able to fight and my number one reason is that I want to see my children grow up.0
