    Ok then.

Great thread. May I introduce you to your wall or blog?

The ones in cartons don't smell and are tasteless. More likely issue is perception of the person. Probably saw the "Rocky" movie too many times.

Drinking them? No. I don't like drinking whole eggs either. Cooking is another story.

and a quick Google indicates to me... that a cooked egg is actually more nutritious than a raw egg...

We use a hand-held blender, 1 cup of milk, one raw egg and 1/2 tsp or more of vanilla (hubby likes the vanilla) blend it up and you almost have a vanilla shake! Even my kids will drink it! :)

Try egg yolks instead! This egg soda is delicious

    http://wanderingchopsticks.blogspot.com/2010/11/soda-sua-hot-ga-vietnamese-condensed.html

Soda Sua Hot Ga (Vietnamese Condensed Milk Egg Soda)

    For one serving, you'll need:
    1 cup club soda
1 or 2 tblsps sweetened condensed milk
    1 egg yolk
    Ice

In a tall glass, add 1 cup club soda, 1 or 2 tblsps sweetened condensed milk, and 1 egg yolk.

Puree until smooth. I used a hand blender, but a whisk, a pair of chopsticks, or a fork would work as well. You might need to strain the drink to remove any eggy lumps if you're using non-electronic methods though.

Pour into a glass and add ice cubes.

Just slightly foamy on top, fizzy, and refreshing.

    Enjoy!

Mix in protein powder and you will not know the difference between milk.

It truly is delicious! The calories are pretty high for a drink but I have it as a desert from time to time. Not often you get your daily cholesterol from a soda! Seriously, though, you really only taste the sweetened condensed milk. It's so yummy and wonderful that it overpowers the rest. I think the egg yolk is really for consistency and foam.

i'm too paranoid about food poisoning to eat raw eggs. At least the carton stuff is pasteurized.

Ooooh, just saw this. I've never added vanilla to the egg soda I talked about but it sounds like an awesome idea!
